| 1962 Corvette 327/360HP, Fuel Injection; Fawn

4.11 Positraction Differential
This is a NCRS correct matching numbers 1962 that
just completed a body off frame total restoration.
Virtually everything has been rebuilt or replaced
with new. It looks and runs better than new.
History:
VIN 20867S111796, built on 5/25/1962 was
originally delivered to Harbor Chevrolet in Long
Beach, Calif. It made it’s way to Seattle, WA
where restoration began in 1982 or so. The
project was abandoned and stored until 2005 when I
purchased it from Kompact Kar Korner in Seattle,
WA.
Restoration:
The car was totally disassembled and every chassis
component was powder coated 60 gloss black.
Every nut & bolt was silver cadmium plated. The
body was stripped to bare fiberglass. Being a
west coast car all it’s life, there was
virtually no rust anywhere. The restoration was
completed 1/24/13 when Al Knoch installed a new
dated softop. It was judged at the NCRS Regional
the following day and scored 94. With a few
refinements, it could be a Duntov car.
Summary:
· Frame, chassis parts, springs, wheels, top
frame (basically everything black) is powder
coated.
· All new Fawn Beige Interior· PPG Deltron 2000
Basecoat/Clearcoat Fawn Beige Metallic, PPG 22005
All Instruments rebuilt & work· Numbers matching
Engine, FI unit, Distributor (electronic), Trans,
differential etc.
