| This is a third owner Corvette. I bought it from a
local collector who bought it in the 80's from a
local doctor. The doctor bought it new and had it
modified as you see it. The finned "Blue LIne"
wheels, the body kit on the front, the exhaust
cut-outs and the internal engine mods were all
performed under his ownership by a local hot rod
shop. I'm told the engine dynoed at 450 HP and I
am inclined to believe it. The paint is good from
10 feet, but some cracking is apparent on close
inspection. The enging/transmission/posi rear all
are sound, although it smokes on start-up as any
bowtie will do. It goes down the road straight and
stops good as I just rebuilt the front calipers
with components from SSBC. The mileage is 60,XXX
since the doctor just played around with the car
and the 2nd owner was too scared to drive it. I am
selling it because other projects are taking my
time away from this car. |
