Let’s extrapolate the production number using the
Black Book quantities by option
· The 427/400HP option was only ordered on
2,072 (5%) of the Corvettes--- which is 700 LESS
than the 435HP option.
· Only 31% of the Corvettes had air
conditioning
· Only 9% of the Corvettes had bright blue
vinyl interior
· 78% of the Corvettes had 4 speed
transmissions
· 43% of the Corvettes were convertibles.
That means this is probably one of only “19” ever
produced. And it looks just as good as when it
left the factory
This is a professional frame-off restoration that
was completed in 2000. The quality of the work is
excellent.
The paint is as nice as any you will see, yet it
is not overdone and the door jams look just like
original. The chrome and stainless looks just
like
new. The trim rings, center caps and wheels are
also factory correct. It even has the correct
antenna mast and base
The rebuilt engine has many of the original
components and the detailed engine compartment
has
a new correct Crane smog A.I.R. system with the
