| 1978 Corvette Pace Car.
Numbers matching L82 engine.
AM/FM and CB Radio (works!)
Rare leather/cloth interior.
VIN 1Z8748S900974.
Engine was pulled and rebuilt and the car had a
repaint by previous owner. Paint is very good,
but
not perfect. There are no cracks or spider
webbing
in the paint at all. I had the original wheels
restored recently and they look fantastic.
In 2006 I installed new AO arm bushings, front
shocks, and sway bar links.
In 2007 I installed new spark plugs, ignition
wires, distributor, fuel filter, upper and lower
radiator hoses, carb preheater hose, air duct
hoses, hood insulation, new AC Delco Gold
battery,
antifreeze and air cleaner. Also new floor mats,
T-Top bags and center armrest. New hood release
cables were just installed.
Overall this car is in very good shape, not mint
but an excellent driver and it shows well. It
runs
perfect, very strong and absolutely no smoke.
T-tops are in good shape. This car always draws a
crowd when I show it.
No major rust. It does have a very minor oil leak
- it hasn’t bothered me enough to fix it.
Everything on the car works except the clock and
the cruise control. A/C worked last summer but
was
feeling a bit weak. All lights work perfect,
radio
antenna goes up and down with no problem, no
electrical issues at all.
