My 1973 Vette is in the original color with
matching drive train (matching numbers). The car
was purchased new in South Carolina (then to
Texas) and had the same owner (cousin) until 2007.
The car has had one repaint in original color 2
years ago. The interior is original and in good
condition showing some age, the driver's side door
planel has a couple of elbow rest splits, but is
easy to replace, carpet is excellent. The rear
bumpers were re-chromed when the car was painted
in 2007. Underneath the car is clean with no rust
or corrosion. The 454 big block engine is strong,
starts, runs and drives well. The 4 speed
transmission shifts well and the lockout for
reverse, an original anti-theft device (key lock)
works fine. Headlights operate as they should as
do interior lights. I recently added flowmaster
mufflers, sounds great. As Vette guys know the 73
was a model transition year with rear chrome
bumpers as with the 68-72's but with the composite
soft nose makes it unique. This car equipped with
the 454 engine and 4 very rare. Look at the
other 73's you see here and else where and most of
the big blocks you will see are automatics. Car
