Original T-Top 350 4 Speed Non-A/C
With Fresh "Frame Off" Restoration !!!
I bought this car with the intent of just driving
it !
The Outside / Performance / and Interior were all
okay,
for a pretty much all original 76,000 mile car !
So for a while I just drove it !
However, there were some areas of the "original"
frame,
that were slightly rusted,
and both rear body mounts were looking bad,
as such I began the "frame off" restoration.
I'm going to go thru some of the work I've done
and the parts replaced,
it won't be everything, but will give you an
idea,
of the over $17,000.00 in reciepts that I've
invested,
and of course, there is myself and freinds labor,
of well over 1200 man hours !
Hopefully, you can see and justify my reserve
price !
The BODY I started with was exceptional, no major
cracks,
or any visible signs of ever been hit / repaired
- Removed from frame to facillitate replacing
rear
body mounts,
and ( I thought) frame repair
- "Rare" GM Sport Mirrors were added (driver side
is manual remote)
- Spoilers are "Indy" styled
- Body was gone over, sanded, primed, sanded,
re-primed, sanded,
and then the B/C GM CANAM White, was applied,
also added were Corvette Torch Red accents on the
hood,
fenders and rear spolier
- All weather stripping was replaced !
- All emblems / lettering / door handles / etc.
replaced !
