| My wife and I are expecting twins soon so it is
time to get rid of my big boy toy and get
something along the lines of a family vehicle.
Year/Make: 1979 Chevy Corvette Mileage: 90,685
Engine: 350 Model is an L82 which means it has
more features than the L48. (i.e. Rear glass
defrost) Rear tires have about 5,000 miles on
them. The front ones are still decent but could
stand to be replaced. New exhaust was put on about
a year ago. V-Force dual mufflers. (Are about the
equivelent of Flow Masters) They have a nice deep
rumble to them. Interior is decent for 30 years
old and is holding up fine. Headlight on drivers
side needs new actuator. Actuator is about $100.
Headlights open by themselves sometimes and
sometimes they don't. You can lift up on the
drivers side if it doesn't come up on it's own and
it will stay up. They both go down on their own so
there is no problem there. Drivers side door will
not open. Probably needs new locking mechanism or
at least needs to have old one worked on. The part
costs about $150. Power locks have been
disconnected and do not work but doors lock and
unlock with key. Power windows both work well and
have no problems. Rear glass is in exellent
condition as well. Windshield has a small chip in
it but other than that is flawless. A/C works
great, heater works great, and defrost works
great. Emergency brake needs work. Holds when car
is put in reverse but does not hold in drive. Car
runs and drives great! |
