The last owners owned this vette since 1999. They
spent over $8,000 on maintenance and upgrades to
this vette over the years. We have most of the
receipts for the work done, which will go with the
vette.
The following is just some of the work that was
done to the car by the previous owners: seat
covers, carpet, rear tray assembly, power antenna,
Y pipe, Flowmaster mufflers, idler arm, lower ball
joints, alternator, master cylinder, u joints,
rear calibers and pads, Ram Automotive clutch,
pressure plate, throw out bearing, fuel pump. The
original engine was completely rebuilt with new
pistons, lifters, push rods, time chain & gears,
water pump, ported & polished heads, all new
valves, valve springs, motor mounts, Comp Cam set,
oil pump, MSD plug wires, grind flywheel, hone
cylinder walls, all bearings, gaskets, and seals
replaced, and much more done.
I drove this corvette about 3 hours home- it is a
blast to drive with lots of horse power.
1979 was the only year GM offered the pace car
spoilers from 78 as an option on any corvette. GM
only released 6,853 with the pace car spoiler
